I wonder who got the job of stitching the hare back together for its trial appearance, where this talk about hares being pulled to bits comes from is beyond me 1 Quote Link to post

desertbred 5,490
The Hunting with dogs act is based entirely on assumptions to get convictions in the courts Assuming that any one with a running dog in a car or walking is hunting mammals. Assuming that if a dog is seen running a hare, that in order to satisfy the Hunting act the dog has been slipped deliberately on the hare. Assuming that any lad with a dog has a lesser right than any other member of the public to be in certain areas. Assuming that most lads will roll over for an offer of Trespass in search of,game instead of Hunting mammals with dogs charge. and in general ASSUMING all running lads are junkies, thieves and violent criminals not in the majority hard working, family lads and decent souls assuming that is possible. low plains drifter 10,505
Dont know, but I read somewhere a long time ago that the hunting act was written up to some extent by the LACS, and after reading through the hunting act in its entirety, it's got to make you wonder what goes on in the minds of some people, made about as much sense as me attempting to rewrite the rules of rugby union, a sport that i have never played, watched, or had anything whatsoever to do with 2 Quote Link to post
roybo 2,873
Not long back,a mate and I got pulled by 4 Cars within an hour ,searched , And told we were being searched as we said we were poaching,we corrected him and said rabbiting on permission ,the officer said ,well it's the same thing lol. We decided to call it a night . I then got pulled on the way home. In general the hunting act hasn't affected me but you have got to say it's hotter than ever. Quote Link to post
