socks 32,253 Posted February 19, 2016 Report Share Posted February 19, 2016 Well mist had an accident last night ran into a cattle feeder aluminium round thing never seen it but heard the metal and I herd her Yelp she walked up to me very slowly when I got there did a forward stretch and lay down she was sore ran to the jeep to get in the field through gate to pick her up gate locked took it if by the hunches and rescued her from the spot ran my hand down her vertibrats and 8 inches from the shoulder there's like a divet , night mare 2 inches then vertibrats again so vets this morning 8.30 for X-rays waiting on the news if it's real bad she'll have to go to a specialist , her back legs are moving and she's walking a little but obviously in a lot of pain , f****n night mare , cheers for the advice last night ken vet said med advice to give her was spot on cheers Has any body experienced this in there dog No worries mate I didn't want to go to sleep anyway lol ...... haymin 2,465 Posted February 20, 2016 Author Report Share Posted February 20, 2016 Haymin the best man in the country bar non to check a dog over ( bone man ) lives here in the NE He goes up the Scottish Borders reg to a greyhound kennels checking dogs over Hoyke or whatever it's called That can't be to far from you So long as you turn up if I can get you a appointment I will give him a call for you if you like? that's great max on the X-ray it really diesnt look much it's just dropped a bit if it was that serious the vet would have referred her to a specialist so really when the swelling is down I'll give you a pm mate thanks very much Magic , Iv got the vet again on Monday @5 I'll keep you posted ??
