Anybody? Not something ive ever used/bought.

The local dealer says his is very temperamental with the smaller .177 but fine with anything larger. (Don't know which make/model he uses). Like anything out there i suppose there's good and there's not so good so any advice much appreciated.

I would buy the Combro mate, they are very good, mine is spot on when compared with readings from my mates expensive stand alone one.

If it is faulty £7.50 will see Combro refurbish it, update it and post it back.

Trust me customer service is second to none with these guys! Buy secondhand, I have, mine is as accurate as the chronos used by 3 different RFDs and gunsmiths!

You would be daft not to buy the one off smithie.

They have an excellent customer service. If it goes tits up or you shoot it off the end of the barrel like a lot of lads have done. They typically replace it for £7.
