General lee 979 Posted February 17, 2016 Report Share Posted February 17, 2016 A different beast being roe my mates dog pre ban of course took 4 roe in an afternoons ferriting She was only 19tts whippet in looks although she was a cross not sure what with. My point being she had good technic at tripping them over. Her weight compared to a roe was a big difference not sure what exactly, but the last time I had one on my back it sure did make me puff and blow. That is very true,the wild Red up Scotland do not make the size of some of the bigger Reds down in England due to habitat, availability of food and the harsher climate up North . Quote Link to post
