the scottish reds will be easier because there not as big or strong as our exmoor reds.Exmoor reds have it easier because the climate is warmer and more abundance of food.

A different beast being roe my mates dog pre ban of course took 4 roe in an afternoons ferriting

She was only 19tts whippet in looks although she was a cross not sure what with.

My point being she had good technic at tripping them over.

Her weight compared to a roe was a big difference not sure what exactly, but the last time I had one on my back it sure did make me puff and blow.

That is very true,the wild Red up Scotland do not make the size of some of the bigger Reds down in England due to habitat, availability of food and the harsher climate up North .

The biggest red deer Ive seen was when hunting (shooting) them in the Argentine..

Personally never seen any dog drop a red preban-all the other species yes and them big fallow were a handful .You must be some dog and man on the slip to do them regular,fairplay.atb dc

Yeah they sailed over Baz,i love going to watch em,they are all wild & i take the Pom and can often sneak real close to them even with the little dog haha

I have had and seen some good dogs on deer per ban and take good numbers,took some big fallow bucks with smallish dogs sh . Great nights good dogs good company

Yea I'd love to see how people carry these beasts back to the vehicle because be very sick killing them and leaving them for the foxes !
