Deker 3,478
spoke to four different farmers today and they all say theyre voting out,no question. But the farmers union is promoting stay in. So is the Labour Party... but labour voters in their millions will vote out So is the Conservative party ...but millions of their voters will vote out Lets all of us, the 1s that really matter promote OUT...OUT...OUT There is a ground swell of OUT, but apathy may be the deciding factor........ .....if you want OUT then keep promoting OUT, and make every vote count! Paulnix 426
I see NFU are for the IN campaign, no surprise there then, must be grants /subsidies , moan people are buying foreign imported meat but... I knew farmers would sell out , totally about profit, they'd still be feeding sheeps brains to cattle and battery farming everything if they could get away with it. Im sure there must be a few that vote out though. Don't know of any saying there are voting in, all I know want out. NFU are for IN for the single reason DEFRA haven't mentioned what will happen in the event of us leaving so they in effect have to go for in to protect livleyhoods, the farming minister is supporting out though. The rest of your is best ignored, reminds me of the ignorant tripe spewed from anti's mouths when they talk of shooting. * edit to add* Farmers are too small a percentage to really worry about which way they will vote though. shepp 2,285
As once said,' democracy exists, whilst it suits those in power' or words to that effect. They may get their way, but out of principal I'll vote out,or else what did we fight world wars for if now we give control to foreign governments who are unable to fulfil the basics such as securing borders and financial stability. Me too mate.
jacknife 2,005
If the vote is close I think this will drag on for years with millions of disgruntled people I do hope the out voters then get behind Ukip in the event of a close vote and the stay camp wins
neems 2,406
If the vote is close I think this will drag on for years with millions of disgruntled people I do hope the out voters then get behind Ukip Will Ukip remain if the vote is to stay? I can't see it,they'll be waiting a long time for another referendum. Also imo a large amount of the left will be swayed to vote 'stay' once they realise it will probably kill off Ukip. I don't know if theres enough discontent after the referendum......The SNP did ok out of losing a referendum I know ill never vote for the 2 main parties ever again as I strongly believe that after a stay vote win it will be full steam ahead with an even more integrated Eu There will be quite a few million people with views like me and they will still need a voice
Born Hunter 17,763
Grouping politics into the conservative (right) and liberal (left) is not something I find very realistic or helpful. However.... If we were to be so crude as to separate politics into conservatives (politics not party!) and liberals and make the reasonable assumption that Brexit is generally a conservative stance whereas the EU is a liberal one then is it really surprising that the polls are showing a pro EU lead? In the UK at least conservatism has proven to be a less active movement, but nonetheless real and massive. The liberal view is often the one heard loudest and most strongly represented day to day but is that really the politics of the majority? I think in a truly fair assessment the UK is overwhelmingly conservative. The only question in my mind is will the conservatives in the UK make their presence felt on the day or remain dormant?

If we vote out it will kill Cameron forcing his resignation so that's a plus for the snp and labour so there's different ways of looking at it in that respect. WILF 46,854
Well, the US has weighed in on the matter.......all I will say is, check out the names who signed the letter......Geitner, Paulson etc......do some research on who these people used to work for, the companies that have financed them and the absolute scam they oversaw and helped facilitate at the time of the last crash. This is the best reason ever for OUT !
