Alex Maiello 0
Hi all, im Alex, medical science student looking to get my FAC in the next couple of months, interested in rabbiting with the hope of gaining confidence to move up to deer stalking after (hopefully) getting my DSQ1 in mid march. looking for any info i can get, ie time taken for dyfed police to do the checks and grant/refuse etc, also wanted abit of info how to get my foot in the door with regards to permissions, seen on a few sites its as simple as knocking, not totally confident that my uninvited visit will go down well though. Thanks A
Welsh_red 4,750
Welcome . Permissions is as simple as asking . Some won't want you but chances are you will never see them again so no problem . If u know of any farmers or have any links to farmers use those ties to start off with . If your good you should get more from that or at least meet a few more farmers . Where in Wales are you
walshie 2,804
Just don't hold your breath with Dyfed Powys police, They surely must be the slowest in the country.

Haiddheliwr 1,911
Hi and Welcome from a West Walian. Got to agree with "walshie" Dyfed Powys are not that quick off the mark!! As for permission just get out and ask, you will get refused a lot but when you get that yes you will be chuffed
