Welsh_red 4,802
I don't have hunting dogs so I may not have the right of idea as to why some don't want then chipped ( trail back to you if something goes wrong etc ) Could you have it chipped and registered miles away from you to a friend . If it goes missing and found your friend could see to it you get your dog back . If your deep in the shit legally and your dog has been taken from you and you yourself are not known or connected to the dog and for whatever reason you need to distance yourself from the dog the registered owner could say they sold the dog ages ago and the new owner promised to update the chip As said I don't understand hunting dogs but that might be a way to make sure you get your dogs back if they go wandering while still keeping yourself in front of the law Quote Link to post
Daniel cain 46,925
i have been a microchip per for ten years and that's about the price I get them for ....but you need to be a registered chipper to purchase them you also need a a scanner Buy a kit off eBay last time I looked you could do twenty plus dogs for forty notes.atb dc You can't buy the kit off eBay and you certainly can't do twenty plus dogs for forty notes ...that's shite calm down lovely,I said last time i looked, get over yourself lol,if I wanted them done my pals lad would do them for fiver a pop and he's registered, and f***ing bullshit my pal in Germany brought his own scanner over to check the dog I was holding for him,and he s no f***ing dog chipper,do the maths 150 for 50 dogs ,twenty dogs for 40 quids not far off☺.atb dc Quote Link to post

It will be another string to their bow ,checking chips, driving licences car docs tyres stop lights etc the list is endless, just for catching a rabbit Edited February 23, 2016 by desertbred 1 Quote Link to post
