Just the 6hr journey back. To go with the 7hr trip there. The fecking M5 is a sh1t motorway. I feel for Jim and Bob, much farther to travel then me. Some effort to drive all the way from Scotland. Top

Looking forward to this I am, good craic, good food and drink, a bit of fishing and a bit of money raised for charity.   See you all there.

No, its about a mile away from there, on the road to St. Merryn if you come in from Padstow side, turn right at the garage if you come in from Retallack roundabout.

Half a mile from Rick Steins Cornish arms pub

Easy to find, (except for the fella whose done a cracking job on the banner once again!)

Cheers, D.

Right next to the lake, look on the view from your swim thread, were parking to the left of the hut. There's a toilet, don't know if it works though :D

Half a mile or so each way to a pub, bit farther to village.

It will be rammed lol

Local camps have coin op showers etc

You'll be all right with your wilderness training!

Cheers, D.

were that close to the lake people will have to leave there tent flaps open so we can ship our poles back into them  .The toilet does work but it is fed from a water barrel out the back so i will have to keep filling it up.

Iwould also like to say thanks to jon ritson for his donation on the just giving page

Who thinks Robbo and Dytkos should be disqualified from the comp for actively practising on the water? I'm sure Arch wasn't allowed to practice last year and Johnny wasn't the year before. :D

Arch doesn't need any practice and Johnny fishes that water regularly, his kids caught ten times more than me :D
