You just want me to go to Cornwall and ask someone "Excuse me, can you tell me the way to the Alps?" so they can have a good old laugh at the grockles.

Here you go, two hours or so ago :D

Cheers, D.

Choiuce of the small lake, 20 pegs tops or the big one, about 40+

Just the 6hr journey back. To go with the 7hr trip there. The fecking M5 is a sh1t motorway. I feel for Jim and Bob, much farther to travel then me. Some effort to drive all the way from Scotland. Top

Looking forward to this I am, good craic, good food and drink, a bit of fishing and a bit of money raised for charity.   See you all there.

Should really start a new thread purely for numbers fishing. I don't think we've ever managed over 20 fishermen.

Ive been to see martin at the garage dave and he is going to see the owner about us camping round the pond for the match sometime this week. Ithink if he is going to let us it wont make any difference when we have the match.

Kev. if you want the match on the 13th/14th then thats when we shall have it. To be honest thats a better weekend for me as i have my annual boys fishing week in sept.down at harlyn sands. So i need a gap between to build my good boy points back up. :icon_redface:

Either the 13th/14th or 20th/21st of august says i but one of the blokes cant make it on the later one. Well i thought you would want to be at home on the 20th/21st of august says the wife. Why whats happening says i ,its our wedding anniversary says she. Taxiii

Cheers Bry, would be gutted to miss this one.

There are lads that have said they want a day messing on the kayaks on the way down so I'll sort that out.

If any lads fancy an evening on the river on the way through (Arch?) and if you want to come up Bry, let me know, could do it on the Thursday may be??

It's on again boys, Last years winner Robbo is organising this years for the weekend of 13th -14th August.

Camping is being sorted, hopefully at the venue, if not nearby.... plus a day sea fishing on the Saturday and the match on the Sunday.

Every year so far has been a success with decent money raised and and a great craic as well.

Robbo will choose this years charity, the fishing match will be held at the Alps fishery in St Merryn, Cornwall.

Normal drill of bring what you can, food, drink, barbies, tents... everyone will muck in as always and make it what it is..

Would really appreciate a mod pinning this.

Cheers

Kev

Thats my fault walshie , as far as computers go im as thick as fcuk.[Actually im completely disinterested in them]Cheers for sorting it.

As far as the charity goes im open to suggestions if anyone has a particular one they support. I have a friend whos young lad is being helped by a charity called B.I.R.D.[brain injury recovery and development]as he suffered epilepsy as an infant which has resulted in brain trauma. My other choice would be Help for heroes

Be careful of Help for Heroes lads, it appears it could be pretty corrupt.

The military lads I know don't seem to raise for it and don't speak to highly about it... If the B.I.R.D charity is personal to you Bry that would be good I reckon
