robbo 867
To be honest walshie you wont need anything other than a few tins of luncheon meat. I cut it up into small cubes[ about 4 mm]. you will catch any kind of fish thats in there on that. You may need strongish gear as a few of the pegs have lily beds in/ near to them. The carp love to make a dash for these when hooked.

You just want me to go to Cornwall and ask someone "Excuse me, can you tell me the way to the Alps?" so they can have a good old laugh at the grockles.

The Cornish Alps are the Mica spoil piles in Clay Country and you'll be an Emmet (the Cornish word for ants) not a grockle, thats Devon. HTH Cheers, D.

dytkos 17,819
Been down today, gonna ask if we can camp on the lakeside if we have it 10/11 Sept, as it would be too busy in August. If not, than were camping 200 yards up the hill and can have it whenever. Pics dreckly Cheers, D.
