Just the 6hr journey back. To go with the 7hr trip there. The fecking M5 is a sh1t motorway. I feel for Jim and Bob, much farther to travel then me. Some effort to drive all the way from Scotland. Top

Looking forward to this I am, good craic, good food and drink, a bit of fishing and a bit of money raised for charity.   See you all there.

As of the last three, a brilliant weekend. Enough snap to feed all the members of the Hunting life, pity more of them don't turn up (Because it's a great weekend) Chef Sean did an excellent job. Cheers buddy and nice to meet you. Well done Robbo on organising the weekend, it was spot on and well done Kev, fully deserved.

It's always good to see friends again, and to see all the dogs together was really nice. Even after all the traveling, I'm looking forward to next year already. Wherever it may be.................

Glad I decided to go after, it was a cracking weekend again it was fair play. Catching mackerel in the morning to have for tea, kayaking in the afternoon and having some great craic in the evening in some great company and that was just the Saturday.

It was great to meet the new lads who came along this year, top lads fair play.

My lad loved every minute of it and he's met a load of new buttys now, he said he wish it was longer lol. Great to see the young uns all getting along and having a great time.

Cheers Bry and whoever helped along the way, top job.

Well done Kev, you was due one. Cracking bit of fishing by Fin too, well done boys.

My favourite one this one was fair play, weather was pretty good too.

As usual, everyone got on like houses on fire lol

Sean took over as virgin chef for us and performed outstandingly.

Johnny did his great auctioneering.

Jim did his usual 1400 mile detour but brought haggis, smokies and clootie.

Joe got wasted.

Kev got aggressive lol

Arch went to bed early.

Ken did his Ray Mears impersonation.

The kids and dogs were all a credit to their parents lol

There was about 7 or 8 different local ciders as well as real ale, cans of beer, cider and lager.

And a portaloo thanks to Kev.

Only blip in the glorious weather was a couple of hours Sat. Am when going fishing off the rocks.

Hopefully we've raised a few quid as well as having a blast :D

Robbo did an absolutely brilliant job with the venue and organising sea fishing and stuff.

Nice to meet old and new friends, sure I've missed a few peoples contributions out but well done to all, another great weekend!

Cheers, D.

4th year of the competition and still as much fun as ever. Hopefully we've made a good few quid for the charity.

There was a few new (to me) lads there this year and it was a pleasure to meet each one of them. Every competition feels like a family reunion. Anyone who has considered going but decided against it for whatever reason - give it a go! You'll love it. Everyone is made to feel welcome. Mrs walshie couldn't make last year and was gutted. She's had this year's comp in her diary ever since and had a great couple of days with lots of cwtchs off everyone. She thinks you're all "lovely". Not a word I'd use, but you're all good lads.

Hopefully we can welcome some more lads/lasses/kids to the fold next year.

I don't really want to mention names in case I miss anyone out, but a massive thank you to Bryan for organizing a cracking weekend and making sure no-one wanted for anything. Well done mate.

Buzz, Imani, Celt, Max, Pickle, Jose, Fergie. Thanks for not scrapping.

To everyone else, old mates and new, thanks for making us feel like part of the family. :clapper:
