Just the 6hr journey back. To go with the 7hr trip there. The fecking M5 is a sh1t motorway. I feel for Jim and Bob, much farther to travel then me. Some effort to drive all the way from Scotland. Top

Can I borrow a keep net on behalf of a mate who's coming up, he's traveling up on a motorcycle and is already bringing rods. Let me know if anyone can help, Atb Joe .

I should have a spare one he can borrow mate ......
He could borrow yours butt, you can keep your catch in a jam jar. ;)

ok any barbeque experts, what is the best to buy to use at the comp. briquettes or lumpwood charcoal. just been to buy some but didnt want to bring the wrong one. i didnt even know you got a choice :icon_redface:

sorry, ive sorted two barbecues walshie. borrowing them, so we are sorted i let kev know so he wasnt messing about but didnt put it up on here.

joe, it is only £2.99/ 5kg bag whether we use briquettes or lumpwood so i will sort it mate, how many bags do you reckon we will need.

rustic :laugh: walshie. it is a proper bog but i will have to keep topping up the water butt that is the water supply to it.

i will get 4 or 6 bags dave that should be enough i think. give me a bell mate when you want to bring anything down

It wasn't for me. It was for 'er indoors. As long as there's somewhere nearby she'll be grand.
