Just as it was his turn to pay, he dropped his £1 coin and it rolled under some shelves out of his reach. The cashier just glared at him as he stood there red faced with big tears welling up in his eyes, so I took pity on the lad. "Don't worry son," I smiled. "C'mon... I'll help you put them back."
