Benelli Supernova Question

Hi all,

 

I recently picked up a Benelli Supernova as a 'rainy day' gun as we get nothing but those lately. I note that it takes 2 3/4, 3 and 3" shotshells, but is there any reason it would not take 2 1/2 shotshells?

 

Forgive me if this seems a daft question, can't find answers anywhere.

Hi ,they will take 2 1/2 up to 3 1/2 ,the only thing I have found is you need to as the Americans put it pump it With Authority .

It's a pity pumps get frowned on ,the supernova is a very good rainy day gun ..........good on clays ,ducks .

I shall remember to pump with authoritaaah. There's a sporting clay ground nearby in in very wet valley, can't wait to try it out there.
