Ferret Tunnels

Hi there could anyone out there please give me some ideas for tubing/pipe to be used in my ferrets play area for them to tunnel in. Many thanks

Sometimes you can be lucky enough to get an odd piece of 4" underground pipe from a builder , the orange stiff pipe they use for drainage , I have recently got hold off some blue 4" flexible pipe again I was passing a building site and saw it ontop off the skip , great find its about 6' long.

They will run through any off these , but I would suggest at least 4" pipe.

Carpet stores will give away nice sized tubes for free (Saves them money) Just saw them to size. They need to be kept dry. They last a while and can just be disposed of and replaced again if needs be.

As said above drainage pipes or you could buy some from a pet store but there not that long

I use tree protectors once they have done there job keeping young trees safe.They can be washed of and reused can also pick them up pretty cheaply.

Solar farms under construction use miles of the convoluted (?) tubing,always plenty lying about they'll let you have.

Drainage pipes the best that smooth orange pipe they can't get a grip on that and slide about

I use black guttering for my jills because they are small but hob is to big for it
