I packed in a salaried Mon-Fri 9-5 job in 2 years ago. 28 holidays, bank holidays, full sick pay, company car. The job was boring and I wanted a change. But I should of stuck with it. Work 7 days a week now, no holidays and no sick pay. And no company car. Lol. Grass isn't always greener.

Anything is legal when it suits, its not house bashing as well its working on the power lines for National Grid which is way harder. That's my short gym career down the shitter cos there's no way on earth anyone would be going to the gym after 12 hours flat out work hahaha.

Welsh_red 4,644
The biggest question is what's more important happiness in work or the money.... At the minute its money for me. For me it flits between the 2 . If everything is alright at home and I'm happy at work the money doesn't bother me . When it's shit I think of some of my mates in big money and stupid hours and think I'd rather that . Although j think if I was on big money with a shitty job it would wear me down mentally and id be no company for myself or family and in the end would regret the wasted time being wound up
stevo79 569
I'm happy as Larry at home just don't like bricklaying full stop. I'd rather be at home on my smallholding but without me job I couldn't have it so catch 22 really. Edited February 13, 2016 by stevo79
