Gaz_1989 9,539
I put white lines on the motorway. Long hours. Dangerous. Dirty. Night work. Crap weather most of the year. Struggle to get a night off. But it pays really well, the lads are sound as f**k, we have a laugh and I get out mooching every day for 2-3 hours with the dogs which you can't do working days. Every cloud and all that.
South hams hunter 8,921
I enjoy my job, I take around 30 calls a day from people with broadband and landline faults. Some of my tests take a while so get to have a good old natter and the lad I fish with sits 10 yards away. Throughout the day I can do as I like between and even during calls, this week ive started a long net at my desk and noones batted an eyelid as I knit away yapping to customers
