Counting is still on going but so far the Greens are back in the Dail with 2 seats and other anti's in are Maureen O Sullivan, the dying looking Clare Daly and her ugly sister Mick Wallace.

So, so far there's a few anti's (who are quiet vocal about hunting) in the next Government.

Fine gael majority is probably the best outcome hunters could of asked for when fine fail were last in power hunting was going to be banned but when fine gael took power they never pushed legislation through, it was a close call and we got lucky but might not be so lucky next time. Uninforceable laws and cases been thrown out of court and described as a waste of police time and resources in the uk have probably saved the axe falling on us allready. Irish politcans generally dont think for themselves and usually look at the uk way of doing things for guidance when making laws and they can see the ban is not working in the uk. Luckily we shut the stable door before the horse bolted for once and the iwtf and other such groups tireless work played a huge part in this.
