Gaz_1989 9,539
it all depend on the breed to show its fittness in hits body but it dont mean there fit when it comes down to giving them 150 runs in a week my dog will never look like that, lol Spot on. Some dogs won't ever look like that. Some look like that and still aren't up to much, fitness wise. My old red bitch looked similar to your dog Kieran even when she wasn't fit. Must just be good genetics. My pup is going the same way. My brindle bitch doesn't look like anything, no visible muscle at all. But she is very fit. Either way your dog looks bang on and if he's doing the job then that's what counts ? 2 Quote Link to post

socks 32,253
It's easy to get a bull cross looking toned and fit with very little exercise ... It's just down to genetics ...... 4 Quote Link to post

spanielsandhawks 466
A good mate of mine had one that looked very similar. Could never get any weight on the mutt no matter what he fed it, and it was not the fittest, Turned out it was a cold kennel keeping him in shape. Impressive looking animal you have there. bird 9,867
It's easy to get a bull cross looking toned and fit with very little exercise ... It's just down to genetics ...... true ken, it just in there genes simple as that, it looks nice , but it don't mean there fitter than say a saluki type lurcher which in general don't carry a lot of weight nor do they go over with . muscle my big young dog 1x gsd x grey Buck carry weight, but shows 6 ribs both sides and feel his spine, but he as very good stamina will do 50 odd runs in the lamp , and good recovery , so it not always by looks 2 Quote Link to post
