Can I ask what you find her hunting and marking is like given that she is mostly sighthound?

Honestly mate as good as any half cross,,,

Did that surprise you Tomo? I've got in my head that I need a fair dose of non running dog blood in a lurcher for it to hunt and mark well, though that doesn't appear to be the case. My bitch that I run now is coming up to eight years old and basically looks like a well built merle whippet. She catches rabbits that my old half cross kelpie bitch would not have got near, but she doesn't mark as well. I need a fast dog that hunts and marks like a half cross!

Most lurchers will mark,,look at the lads with pure whippets,,most of them Mark and hunt up,,,so not really suprised ..
