he does quite abit to them first of tune a regulate with will make it work smoother and stop power curve and increase shot count then I'm adding bigger cylinder so better shot count again and shroud so hopefully quieter it's got a weirhauch silencer on now.. I want it to be about the same length as silencer and barrel is now.. Don't want it ending up to long as it's very pointable now and easy to maneuver.. I'm going to trust what he does not heard a bad thing bout him he does lot of tweaks inside when fitting the regulator so should be good outcome

Just dropped the ultra of to air Tech.. Carl seems very knowledgeable was there for a hour showing me what will be done decided what cylinder and size of shroud I'm going for can't wait to pick it up and get it out in the field I haven't done nothing with the rifle since I bought as got it with getting it modified in mind but his parts what he produces and the work he does will definitely better it From a standard ultra so looking to the outcome.. Once it's back I'm then going to look in a day/night Vision scope been looking at the atn ones think there bout £500 don't want to spend no more than that or a nv add on for my scopes not sure yet

Using AA 7.89gr pellets l'm getting 801 - 805 fs. Hunting wise l use AA field 8.4gr. Excellent grouping. Using field 8.4gr pellets it puts out 11.54lb. JSB Heavies 10.34gr its putting out 11.8lb. Shots wises l'm easily getting 70 plus. Not pushed it to actually see what the shot count is, will get round to it one day. I'm guessing circa 90.

Trigger feels much smoother to use.

l filled to 250 bar (just to see how it performed) .. the other day and the second pellet went on top of the first pellet. Its very consistant. I usually fill 220 - 230 bar.

The bolt action which had become "rough prior to sending it to Airtech" on return is silky smooth.

l was toying with the idea of a HW 100 kt or AA Ultimate Sporter (.177) .. thing is l'm guessing they might not offer me more than what l now have in the Airtech Ultra. Think l will hold on to it now .. lve just put a Panorama 3-9x50 on it. I had a Hawke Eclipse 4-16x50. Scope was fine, just it made the rifle unbalanced and the Panorama works great on low blue reticle illumination with my nightvision ...

Noise supression wise, l'd say the shroud is on par with the Weihrauch moderator it replaced.

I haven't owned a more expensive pcp. Im not sure if l'd of been better off just getting something like an Air Arms Ultimate Sporter or HW 100 kt (.177) .. l can't compare against them. The shot count is up there with either of the two aforementioned pcp's. Possibly lighter in weight than either also. I know the HW & the AA are very accurate, how it would compare to either of them lm unsure. Reliability wise, lm unsure. Most of the original internals have been replaced by Airtech, though lve read many good commendations regards his work. To the extent he guarantee's his work for life "apparently" . So that confident inspiring me thinks ..

I found my groups widened when l used 4.53mm .. and to a lesser extent 4.51mm .. 4.52mm suits my barrel (which incidently, Carl did something to) .. he said pellets had originally been clipping, so he machined something on the barrel (not the most technical report on the barrel work)
