spudlington 3
Was out early sat morning on one of the farms where I have deer permission. Had watched 5 stags several times recently but they were on neighbouring land. Spotted two stags as first light came. One with a better head and this one, left the better one and took this fella at about 180yrds. Ran about 20yards and down he went. Two hinds and a calf stood up on skyline at the shot but didn't have a safe shot on any of them so let them on. Nice shot through heart and lungs, the ravens and grey crows arrived as i finished the gralloch and started the drag out. Farmer well pleased and so was I . Spud Quote Link to post
