Max.. there is no Joe, beanie or swoop in either splodge or fettle

However a little further back and both splodge and fettle are from the same 'breeding lines' as swoop

Both of fettles grandsires 'Sam' and 'nipper' are out of drews Joe X the seagull, both Joe and seagull are half siblings to swoop

Would the greyhound you used not contain any similar bloodlines to Balleregan Bob mate?

I'd imagine so mate think the similar bloodline will throw similar 'type'...

Last year I bred my first litter of pups off a coursing dog X a heavy saluki saturated bitch... The sire was smooth white coursing type and the bitch was broken coated red/tan

I find it very strange that not 1 pup from the litter produced was smiliar to either parent, grandparent or great grandparent.... The dominant colour was Black & Tan, Does this show the connection from the saluki in the bitch to the saluki in the coursing dog how ever many generations back?

Perhaps the introduction of the greyhound made a similar connection to the Merlin/eve blood in your bitch, as the Bob blood in beanie made with swoop?

Btw max I hope this litter throws up a diamond for you, v.well bred and be very interesting to hear how they progress, as you've said in the past this litter could add a lot to some of the coursing lines in the future
