Opportunity That I Couldn't Resist !

Recommended Posts

Well I was flicking through the various forums last night and came across an advert that caught my eye, it was a nice looking air arms s410 Classic, in .177 in a walnut left handed stock and left handed action ! It was up for swap as the owner of it was looking for a tx or pro sport, it just so happened I had a stunning left handed tx200hc sitting in the cupboard feeling sorry for itself as it very rarely gets used, just so happened that the s410 was less than 2 miles away from me, so with a quick exchange of photos and a pm or 2, off I went to check the s410 out and the tx went out for inspection as well, well all went well, the s410 has been extremely well looked after, along with it having been fitted with a regulator giving very consistent shots, it has also been serviced , it came with a box full of seals, springs, and various tuning parts, along with all the original parts that have been upgraded, the fella that had it was also very happy with the tx200hc that I took along, to which he also tested on the chrono before the deal was sealed, I had the tx chronographed about 2 weeks ago and it was over by a bit, so rather than cutting the spring I carefully heated and compressed the spring down a bit, which made a vast improvement on the action noise, the tx was putting a steady 10.9 on the chrono last night so both he and I were happy to do the trade, so I'm now the owner of a perfect full left handed s410, I called in to see my mate bigmac97kt, on my way back over home with the s410, needless to say a few choice words were said, about sh1te & roses etc lol, I'm still grinning now, well happy with the deal, I think this will be a nice useable keeper.
