Ideation 8,216
Just out of interest. . . who's breeding this year, or knows of a mating. . . that would produce a good sized bitch around 25/26". Strong, fast, smart, good on a wide range of quarry, but more importantly very good at certain species day and night. Not a hare dog. Breeding not overly important, but more toward bull and collie, maybe deerhound, not so much saluki or whippet etc. Any ideas lads and ladies? Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
Thanks for the replies. I don't think I'm asking for much to be honest, why would you put the time and effort into finding and rearing a pup, and want anything less? Not after a first x of any kind, not my cup of tea thanks. Lurcher to lurcher would be grand, doesn't have to be any particular make up, but as said, I like what I like. As for timing, as we are in Jan, this year would be great. . . . . if you think a pup isn't going to be running much till its 12 months old and not doing any proper work till its 2. . . . . if pup isn't on ground till next summer, it'd be another 2.5 years or more till pup was running. But if its worth waiting for . . . .. 3 Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
I don't think you're asking too much, for what it's worth. I wouldn't be looking for anything less if I was after a litter myself. Hope you find what you are looking for. 1 Quote Link to post
