Recommend Me A Broadband And Phone Privider?

Recommended Posts

As above your recommendations or stay away froms. Been on comparison sites all night and when a deals sounds good, I checked out their reviews, none and I mean none had good reviews. In fact some reviews, if true, were complete horror stories.

So who would you recommend?

Been with EE for years. for mobiles, home phone and broadband been great.

Funnily enough, that is one I chose out of the providers, but once I read the reviews I was really put off, and my son is with them and rates them highly for reliability and speed, he get close to 70mbps.

it boils down to reliability if your line is reliable then they will all be mostly fine with any of them as for the most part there services will be on a par. Its just when you do get issues who is the best at resolving them. I rate a uk support line with an some one tidy on the end of the phone a big plus.

They're all crooked as politicians.

I would sooner pour boiling piss in my eyes than go back to BT

Talk talk were just as bad but albeit light fingered and had a habit of adding charges and taking what they wanted out of my bank account.

The old boy next door has had a few issues with virgin. Something and nothing really but you need a translator to speak to their customer service.

We have been with sky for a few years and it seems OK but they are only using the same communications infrastructure as the rest. ( except virgin!! ).

So it all boils down to the better deal you can get by phoning around and comparing prices.

Then phone the best deal and tell them you have been offed better elsewhere and haggle.

I would like to say screw them before they screw you. But sadly your already bent over!!

I was with Virgin for years, then had to change to BT when we moved here. The whole affair was so shit they let me out of the contract after a couple of months.

I'm with Swalec now. Decent speed (considering) decent service and most importantly of all, UK customer service centres.

We are with sky for broadband and landline .had few issues lately with phone line going down or slow,so love film won't play.either them or its a BT problem.

With EE for mobile and got problems in Wye valley with reception ,most times I have no signal, complained on fb page ,an they wanted me to look at signal strength calculator an shit,an like someone said if got no signal I can't and they should be ones doing it.

Once contracts up I'm changing to 3 .yet I been with orange since first mobile which was a new mr30 from car phone warehouse, but once they changed to T mobile it went downhill and even worse when they went into EE!

3 are currently shafting all their customers by moving them to more expensive deals wether they like it or not, i`ve had phones and mobile broadband with them and there`s more chance of snow in the sahara than me going back to them, bit the bullet and put a land line in and use BT for internet now, free install and £23 p/m for unlimited data, free weekend landline calls and BTsport, ok its only a 12 month deal and the price goes ratshit after that but can allways cancel and shop around again, and my phone is with tesco, PAYG, £10 in get £20 free for a month, don`t use it much so that tenner with the free bit ends up lasting me about 3 months, coverage seems ok and even tho they don`t have their own network they don`t seem to suffer the outages the mainstream providers get

Sorted now, I am with Sky and to be honest the broadband compared to who we have been with before is good. Its broke down once in two years, and an English girl got it running in five minutes, fair play. The only qualm I had with Sky was the cost. I phoned cancellations and asked if they could match a deal Fuel broadband had on a comparison site (picked Fuel as it was the cheapest) and to be fair they got within a £1 per month of it. So the wife is £7.50 a month better off they dropped the broadband charge from £10 per month to £2.50 for 12 months. Worth the phone call.
