My friend has a russell dog here 18 month old he is blue and white tri colour ..docked tail lives out very quiet but a good watch dog . He has only ever been used for clearing rats around the bird sheds and a stud dog so if anyone after a little dog for rats. Replying to as many messages as i can amazin when a dogs free the amount your inbox fills up bud

Sound. Doesn't make any odds to me. The fella says PM won't send so asked me to try and contact you. It would be predominantly a pet for his old dear and he would do bits of ratting and bushing if the dog took to the job.

All the best finding it a good home. A price tag would keep the messers away though.

If you don't know them I would put 150 on him to deter the peddlers. And he would still be cheap dog.

150 for a non working type and it sounds cheap???? Any wonder the dog world is fecked
Working or non working £150 for a russell is still cheap. Fact is at £50 someone's going to buy it,then put it back up for sale for possibly up to £200.

In fact £150 is cheap for any dog. You can't pay that ,or prepared to pay it,then what if it need the vets.

if it needs the vets then it would just get taken to the vets, that's not the point, the point is dogs are on a down hill slope due to money involved, and over here you could buy a worker for that, it's up to their own what they charge, but I'd be more inclined to make sure it had a good home never mind money, all the what ifs, chances are it might never need the vet if it's not gona be working, that's why you lads are paying 300/500 per pup, cause there's no one really out for the working dog, just the coin involved with it, and yous must have plenty of coin to waste lol

I did say if they didn't know them put the higher price on! Fact is the low price would attract the wrong sort who would have it then flog it or have if then when it needed a vets bill or they got bored drop it and get another cheap or free dog,

Ive had dogs and when they not worked out ,I have rehomed them free if home was right.

And how much coin I got ,is me own buisness lol

Frodo is a 3 year old much loved staff/terrier.. He has bounds of energy, in fact too much energy and is getting too boisterous for our much older staff.

He was brought in to our home by error as a pup and we just cant give him the time/attention he needs because of work commitments.

would ideally suit a more active life than what we can provide for him..A great guard dog because of his alertness..
Not worked but he is game when out walking in the fields

      Clean,strong, chipped, friendly, home/farm/working dog.

      Chester location
