bilbobagins 92
Never trust technology the best way to get the information you want is to fire the gun over all ranges with your pellet of choice and write down the results 3 Quote Link to post
David.evans 5,323
Don't know zimpa how you got the bc if you haven't got fps over a chrono ? Unless you have Atb Quote Link to post

Durham John 693
Couple of questions Zimp why 30 m zero what scope you using and at what mag? (3.9 cm centre of barrel to centre of scope seems a bit low) 1 Quote Link to post
Zimpara 99
Using a 4x32 scope. So its very low aye. I've got a chrono. :-) Strelok isn't much better either 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,982
Should zero in at 34 m would be best What you have on your post is the same as chair gun , is that what you are asking or am i thick and not getting you post 1 Quote Link to post
Zimpara 99
I'll zero in at 34 and see how it goes Vman cheers. What are the perks? My chairgun says for my I for I get 5cm drop at 50metres. And 13mm at 40. What does yours say? Cheers Quote Link to post
pernod 466
You already have all the info you need from the targets you shot. Sometimes the old ways are best. Pernod. 1 Quote Link to post

jonnie bravo 572
Zimp, big respect for using a 4x32. Nicely done. As a rough guide a 35yd zero in .177 at 12ft/lbs will give you half an inch either side of your zero from 10-40yds, so pretty much no hold under/over needed at said ranges to hit the kill zone 1 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,563
Zim, if you will, Pretty much bang on the info`already from the lads . To be within a 1 inch kill zone throughout the flight path. "On average." .177, 8.8 to 35 mtrs zero, or 9.7 to 38.3 yds zero. .22, 6.3 to 28.5 mtr zero or 6.9 to 31.1 yds zero Zim you are using a 4x32 scope - no milldots i presume ? with the .177 cal ? Then "make sure" that your maximum range is 40 yards and minimum 10 yards in .177 mate, leave "guessing" out of your fine shooting mate. What did chair gun pro say about windage, by the way ? Zim, lads, have a toot at "Best zero range for .177 and .22" in your search engine (top right of this page) - very informative. atb Quote Link to post
