David.evans 5,323 Posted February 5, 2016 Report Share Posted February 5, 2016 Matt Not been funny mate , but if you zero at 40 yards in 177 The half mill dots should work out 5 yard increments, on 8.5 mag with jsb's 10.4 , don't know what your using ( 8.4 ) ? mark williams 7,561 Posted February 5, 2016 Report Share Posted February 5, 2016 Matt, Zero your HW 100 to strike a match head at bang on 38/39 yards or 35 mtrs if you will. Your .177 pellet will fly within a 1 inch flight path (kill zone) from 9.7 yards out to 38.3 yards using an average 8.4 grain pellet, (no hold under or hold over) within this range. Calibrate your rifle over further distances with half mill dots if you need more distance. Hope it helps any. 1 Quote Link to post
