Hobs In Season

Recommended Posts

yesterday I acquired three ferrets from a man packing up due to ill health,

A black eyed white Jill, polcat Gill and a huge sandy Hob

My question is are people finding there hobs are in season already?

Due to the warm winter we have had?

The problem is my hob is usually fine around other males but when I introduced him to my new Hob they wouldn't stop fighting so had to separate them.

Here' s one for you. Never having had either I've never needed to know. Can a castrated hob still get interested in a Jill which has come in, or, is it just a vasectomised hob. I acquired some castrated and a friend wants to use one to bring his Jill out of season.

I've had castrated hobs interested in jills before but they can't bring a jill out of season - would need a vasectomised one for that

I have one of this years hobs in season already

No signs of my older Jill's and hob in season as of yet but keeping a eye on them everyday

Had to finish my season about two weeks ago due to a lot of young inside milky does and pulled out a couple of young from a stop end.
