TUFFTY 1,476
No fighter from the ingle camp fought one dimensional. Thats a silly statement. I thought it was max at first.
unlacedgecko 1,466
If Allah is the greatest, and Muslims are superior, why has he married a blonde white non-Muslim woman?
neems 2,406
I wonder what % of his pay-per-view buyers were just desperate to see him get knocked out? He could teach Mayweather and Fury a few things about being genuinely hated instead of just slightly irritating/embarrassing.
gnasher16 30,470
Ive never been able to get that interested in much below lightweight but Naz was just one of those naturally destructive punchers.....apart from that i dont know that much about him in all honesty. tillylamp 1,838
Was a fantastic talent with a boxing style and persona that people either loved or hated.., made him good value at the ticket office either way. Lost his way after parting with Ingle and I don't think he was in top form when he fought Barrera. Wee man with a big talent but an even bigger ego. Add to that the nutcase hangers on and all the religious sh!te and it was only going to go one way. I mean, what the fcuk is this all about,,,? personally i thought naz was on top form,it was berrera that made him look under par with his continuous counter punching, i think naz thought he was going to blast berrera away, like the others, but berrera soon worked him out, which ever angle he tried throwing the big bombs from, berrera just timed it perfectly on the button, after that naz didn't know what to do as hes the one normally in control, plus them Mexicans can take a good shot when they have to, they are so tough, i think the Mexicans, Puerto ricans, etc, are one of the most toughest people in the world of boxing, they don't seem to worry about the other guy hits hard, they just keep coming and coming until they've worked you down then finish you off in style.......i swear they have got terrier in there blood lol lol !!! imagine calsberg did a mexican heavyweight that fort like the lighter ones!!!!!

Good post that i agree Mexicans seem to have that durability and ruggedness you dont often see athletically gifted Mexican fighters i think their culture demands machismo in preference to skill sets.....i remember the late great Salvador Sanchez as brilliant as he was he wasnt as popular as fighters like Chavez or Ruben Olivares simply because he wasnt as physically tough as they were.
Truther 1,579
Naz was one of the hardest fighters to hit and one of the hardest hitters there was I have never heard of him being called one dimentional Seen an interview with him once and said he used to spar against youngsters. He said when you spar against trained fighters they had there routines and were predictable, spar against a novice and he's liable to do anything. Naz did do that mate, he bullied those young lads, just showing off, until one day one of them got pissed off, slipped the gloves off and floored him, Brendan and another fella had to jump in and pull him off the prick

Tbh Barrera didn't have the best set of whiskers, Junior Jones dropped him heavily. The writing was on the wall for a while with Naz, he hadn't looked massively impressive for a while before his defeat. He has to be in the top 20 P4P punchers of all time though IMO.
