He said when you spar against trained fighters they had there routines and were predictable, spar against a novice and he's liable to do anything.

charlie caller 3,654
What ever happened to Prince Nazeem ?? Not heard of him for years!! I always wanted to buy the guy that sparked him out, outside niche nightclub in Sheffield a pint I was once painting some gates, at the top of a very affluent road in Sheffield, it was a nice summers day, and I stopped for a brew and a fag, on the road maybe ten -fifteen yards away from the gates, a Nissan Micra I think it was, containing an elderly couple, was tootling down the road at around 30mph or so, all of a sudden a Ferrari comes down the road at probably 80mph, and screams up to the old couples car, it then backs off until the Micra is maybe 30 yards away, then screams up to the car again, they disappeared round a bend, and I could hear it doing the same thing all the way down the road, which is around a mile long, guess who was driving the Ferrari? You got it, that prize bellend Nazzeem. what a dick.

lurcherman 887 13,264
Could fight as a heavyweight these days for sure he's so big lol Don't really know much about him other than he's always seeming to be coked of his head in any interview with him Prince Naseem v Gramsey joyce would be about right 5ft 5 in height and same in width! Gramsey will only have a few clouts in the cage ?
shepp 2,285
Naz was one of the hardest fighters to hit and one of the hardest hitters there was I have never heard of him being called one dimentional He could only fight one way and that way was successful against most boxers, but put him in with top class and he was not so difficult to hit. He was one dimensional in as much as if his only game plan did not work, he had nowhere else to go. He was lucky to catch Kevin Kelly and when his style was obviously not overcoming Barerra, even his trainer the great Emanuel Stewart could say nothing to him other than try and knock him out even if it means taking 4 for 1. People rated him more than he deserved because he was hyped, different and could hit hard, much like Tyson. They both appealed to the non boxing fans, a good solid but less bullshitty pro like Barrera would never appeal to non boxing fans like Hamhead.
MIK 4,763
So if you rated Tyson and Naz you are a non boxing fan.?
shepp 2,285
So if you rated Tyson and Naz you are a non boxing fan.? Not necessarily, but they were both rated higher by more people because they were different and exciting. A good solid alround pro like Barerra, would be considered boring for a lot of non boxing fans.

Barrera will be highly spoken of by boxing fans the world over for decades.
