The mill stream that run into Whalthamstow resevoirs in East london held a cracking head of good perch , 1lb fish were common , along with 1lb roach , day ticket you needed to be in the first three in the queue to get one of the best swims ..seen grown men fighting to get there ..thirty years on its empty thanks to the cormorants i'm told ..caught some good barbel in there as well .

Bit deep that Tilly I think the lad as got the gist not the best way to treat your catch well I hope he has & respects the fish he does land atb Flacko

yeah maybe flacko, i see what your saying, i see the yanks doing it all the time they actually hold it horizontal by the jaw for the camera, it winds me up, i just saw that perch being held out by its jaw and it set me off, i apologies if it was a bit deep.

Yeah it was a bit deep, I posted the pictures, was then shown the error of my ways and I said I'd learn from it so no need to be a prikc
