sussex 5,777 Posted February 13, 2016 Report Share Posted February 13, 2016 The mill stream that run into Whalthamstow resevoirs in East london held a cracking head of good perch , 1lb fish were common , along with 1lb roach , day ticket you needed to be in the first three in the queue to get one of the best swims ..seen grown men fighting to get there ..thirty years on its empty thanks to the cormorants i'm told ..caught some good barbel in there as well .
