Neil cooney. you have been found guilty of doubling up terriers. This is a serious breech of the hunting life rule book, section F parragraph 45. You are now required to hand all of your terriers in t

I'd like to apologize to Neil for any hassle I caused by telling pokies about him doubling up dogs and I hope by me doing this that me and Neil can get along on the site and maybe one we can meet up a

Any man can spout shite on here behind a user name,i would go as far as to say half of them dont even dig but it takes a good man to apologize and admit he was wrong and thats exactly what mixed grill

Why try and stir shit again, leave it be,it was between MG and NC and a mate of mine got dragged in to it unknown to himself as he is not on here and all he is guilty of is having a harmless conversation with 2 lads he met out shooting on saturday but there conversation was twisted and lies were told.Mixedgrill has openly made his apology on here so leave it at that.

OK, I'll put the record straight regarding doubling up.

I don't double up terriers, simple as that, anyone who knows me knows I don't and anyone who says I do is a liar.

The incident I wrote about was around 25 years ago and I'd already mentioned that after a couple of hours in a big rangy place the fox wasn't going to bolt.

Paccy didn't keep hard terriers and his terrier Max, was just following the fox around and around.

Paccy went away and as soon I got his back turned I put in the terrier that I had with me and shortly after we dug to a dead fox. It meant we could go on to the next earth. It finished a situation that looked like it was going to waste our day quickly.

I hate having to explain things twice and make no appologies for entering a second terrier.

IMO anyone who knows a bit about terrierwork got the gist of my story but lads like yourself ,new to the game, Foxbolter needs explaining word by word.

This is not the first time you've tried to start an arguement with me.

I know I just have but at this stage of my life I really don't need to be explaining myself to your like.

Well said Neil. Doubling two poor dogs to help each other is a no no, having two dogs in the same place in certain circumstances can be a necessity.

Bale stacks , one each end to produce a bolt at the centre.

Many "lost " dogs were found because another terrier was entered.

To put two mixing types in together would be foolhardy.

And truly is a case of dogs for jobs and knowing your dogs.

There are no hard and fast rules in terrier work, only guidelines.

bobby did you not leave before as similar stuff was said about you on here???? From my experience I know lots of like minded folk but how the numbers of best mates are fell out and hold grudges over who owns what holes is laughable, do they never think it's the farmer that owns them??? Hunters are a weird sort at the best of times and some are escapes from the loony asylum lololol, but all with the love of the job

You are now required to hand all of your terriers in to the nearest animal shelter and do 3000 hours of community service for all your sins .I hope you can some day see the error of your ways, and may god have mercy on your terriers.

Who wanted to start a thread on the pros and cons of doubling up ,Neil maybe , lol . Only joking mate .

Believe me FD I could write on the subject with a bit of authority.

When I was a teenager I got bullied into putting my terrier into back up a bad Jack Russell, the result was my terrier was killed.

So believe me, I don't take entering a second terrier lightly.
