DogFox123 1,379
Taking the missus down to London for Valentines day, last minute thing like always. Planning on stopping the night near Waterloo, train tickets are expensive for a return so will be driving down. The hotels nearby don't have parking so wondering if anybody on here knows any cheap 24 hour car parks? Cheers.

gnasher16 30,121
Im pretty sure in the side roads around Waterloo theres no restrictions after 1pm on a saturday and none at all on a sunday so you could park for free just as long as you can find a space.......i cant remember who it is now but theres a black cabbie on here he,ll be able to tell you. tillylamp 1,830
i think a lot of people let you park on there driveway for a small fee, i use to do that when i worked in Chelsea, this guy had a sign up, park here.

Give me the best ideas for the day out. let's face it if your taking the missus and want to score a few brownie point then your gonna be tagging a long while she looks at the shops . So Harrods is always good or the jewellery shops on Old Bond St then the big stores on Oxford St an Regent St . If your after a show Covent Garden and china town always good for a bit of midday dinner , green lurchers showed me a good place on Wardour St called hungs you can get a plate of something for about £6 so good value for London . The imperial war museum is good so is the natural history museum borough market is good for a wander around and not far is the Golden hind ship and one of my favourite little museums is the clink prison . That's about all I can mind of the top of my head lol but I hope that helps ?
