Was thinking of buying a ferreting dog it would be nice if could mark up and do a good days ferreting and a good night lamping and retrieve live what type of dogs do you all use

Ovs I would be looking for a pup but what breds do you find best for a good night lamping say 30 plus runs but a good says ferreting marking and staying 100 percent concentrated on the job in hand

Mine has bull,collie in him and I am surprised how good he is at ferreting. But I would imagine most will do it

That's my point there 1000 of lurcher out there a lot a just money makers that's wy iam asking on here get some views of lads who uses them week in week out

Get a pup off working dogs that retrieve live to hand. Iv a beddy whippet that i use for lamping ferreting and go mooching with. She will catch rabbits live and pin them to the deck but bashes them when she tries to retrieve them. Seen a few hard mouthed whippets too.

i would say the collie grew lines im breeding minni, ,my lurcher to a distant relaition from d slieghts kizzy katie lines 24 inches of pace and

d good retreiving skills , jumping ,a real all round dog very good rabbiting and a good allrounder
