random 659
Well I said a few days ago I'd shoot some groups and put up a pic so between doing stuff this afternoon I got the gun down and did it,was kind of rushing but put out a piece of paper and put a hole in it as a target, shot five into it and got this group from sitting, Carried on with some bits then thought I'd have another go,went to put up a target piece of paper and spotted this down the garden so just shot at it instead, standing leaning on the back door frame, As I was getting packed up I saw a movement in the tree outside my window so took a peek and there were two squirrels sitting high up,got the gun shouldered and took aim on the bigger one, heart as head was hidden, let fly and one last leap to the ground without a kick, looked back to find the other still sitting there so took aim and one thud behind the ear later another hits the deck, So a target session as promised ended with two in the freezer, not a bad afternoons shooting ,unlike the focus on some of my pics, which is shocking 5 Quote Link to post
random 659
The squirrels undressed for the freezer, bloody hard to skin as well,I tried the cut at the base of tail technique, wasn't as quick as the vids on the tube I can tell you! Have these when I've got through some of the meat I've got piling up... Quote Link to post
