green lurchers 16,830 Posted January 30, 2016 Report Share Posted January 30, 2016 walking the dogs early on was thinking of smoked eel from suffolk or freshly cooked crab still warm going back in the shell for breakfast , it was a no brainer the smoked eel can wait . off i head to mersea home of the oyster beds and other bits of seafood . after the long haul drive of 35 mins couldnt take the hunger pains so a pit stop at tiptree famous for its jam and whippets , twas where dorrit mackay bought her whippet off stanley wilkins that she started her laguna line,after an egg n bacon sarnie i,m still on course for the crabs out the boiler and some other sea creatures , funny old place is mersea island sort of stuck in time for a while i felt like i was in england ,froze me conkers off and headed back fll to the gunwales 16 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
