ftm 3,357
------out again on Thursday night to a large private garden that was being used as a bit of a crow roost . took craig and dogs along for company and as soon as I pulled into driveway I could see a good few crows bouncing around on tops of large trees -rifle was out bag in a flash and 1st crow spiralled to floor ,koda was on it and back in my hand in a few seconds ,the rest had flown a few trees away so dogs on leads we quietly edged down the driveway and as I lined another bird up craig give me a nudge to point at a lone bandit tucked against a tree trunk so rifle lowered crosshairs in place and SMACK! bandit just rolled forward stone dead -dog sent over and another in the bag -the crows took off making a right old racket which bought mome owner to door ,I went over to him and he was pleased to see us and stated that would we not leave any dead birds lying around .I assured him everything would be picked up and he thanked me and let us get on with it craig took next few crows and in the 2 1/2 hrs we had 6 crows 1 bandit - billy 2 Quote Link to post
