Regged Ultramax Se .177

Recommended Posts

I got a DIY Huma regulator kit for my Ultramax SE through the post today. I'd already printed off the instructions from the XTX website and read them a few times to get it straight in my head. Fitted it this evening in about an hour so if a twat like me can do it anyone can.

It was too dark to do any proper testing by the time I'd finished but managed about 20 shots and I'm really impressed with it so far. One good thing is how much quieter it is. The kit comes with a reg, larger transfer port, new hammer spring and spring guide so I'm guessing the larger port and softer spring make the difference in sound.

I'm like a kid at Christmas now waiting for morning so I can give it a proper test. ?

Hi Chris , Sounds like you have done a good job on the ultra , If you can put up a post on your findings of this fine gun and groups ,it will be interesting to see the difference between a DIY and one from a tuner

Mitch, do you fill yours above 230 bar?

I haven't yet but I think the regs can handle 250.

What a little cracker mate. I can't remember being this chuffed with an airgun.

Chris

I spoke to Carl and he said 250 fill is fine
