Aa Pup

Anyone seen that new bull pup from air arms? The Galahad Sport Pup it's called.

 

Naturally, it's gonna be a good performer, but f**k me its dog ugly. A mile away from the league of FX, Kalibregun etc re looks.

 

I kinda heard about it but it dropped on me hard when I saw it on the shooting show channel on the tube.

I like the HW mod but it looks as though your face is on a none face friendly metal area which is a shame in my book and to be honest the cocking lever is too far back. If I wanted a Bullpup type of gun, I would go for the FX Wildcat which has the cocking lever in the right place and although a metal comb, it remains quite comfortable when I shouldered it in the shop.

Its a proper pup though... well small. Warrick Davis would struggle to get comfy on the thing.

Just take a look at where the bolt action now is and how awful it would be to perform

You will have to de- shoulder the gun to use the bolt action or else look like you have a wasp in your ear, - great for hunters eh ?

 

 

 

Well "each to their own" but a big "YAK" ! from me - sorry.

 

p.s. - The Galahad bolt action is in the right area, - one ugly rifle though.

You need earplugs when shooting the Vulcan bull pup at fac (50ft/lb). With your ear on top of the action it is deafening
