Weather Forecast

Recommended Posts

I know there's obviously a bit off leeway in weather forecasting, but it's getting to be a joke now on just how wrong they are. On several different sites yesterday it said weather in my area was going to be 12-14 degrees C and raining all day. Today supposedly the same.

Actual weather was/is 2-6 degrees and bright, sunny and dry.

With the millions of pounds worth of equipment they have, how can they be so wrong day after day?

If I guessed what it was going to be like every day, I'd have a higher hit rate.

Their equipment does not make the weather though does it?

No. It seems to have no relationship with the weather at all.

The met office made its name in World War Two and cemented it with the D Day Landings, it is not an exact science even with the capability of today's satellites. The name of the game is prediction on one big computer game, heads or tails? Oops sorry wrong again, hope it was not inconvenient. Next shooter, place your bets please.
