If she's chipped you've got a good chance of finding out what's happened - if either taken to a vet/rescue centre or a road casualty she'll almost certainly be scanned then you'll get a phone call. If she's not chipped (and even if she is) it's worth putting details with doglost then get the posters put up all round the area. You have my sympathies as I know what you're going through. I had an unchipped dog go missing whilst out for a mooch about 10 years ago. It took 3 days before I discovered what had happened to him, and I was out of my mind with worry the whole time.

Always had mine chipped ever since then and it's paid off as twice now I've had a dog go missing and both times had a phone call within a couple of hours as they'd been picked up, handed in and scanned.

Gutted for you keep at it and especially around the excact area you last saw her she might of got on a deer n ended up a good way off and if she's still wondering and hopefully hasn't got herself snagged somewhere there's still a good chance she'l make her way back to around were you last saw her keep blowing the whistle aswell for a fair while if she's firmiliar with one good luck..

I lost my mate bitch the other week 1am. Searched high and low for her I soaked to the bone. Had to go home at 5am because my missus had work at 6 for my wee lass. My mate went back out til 8 then I went I went back for at 9. I was walking up a road to a farmer's house, this couple pulled up asked if I lost a lurcher. They found her where we're parked up eating a dead rabbit.

Daz am praying this has a good outcome pal I know how much you have put into her mate and I pray you get lucky and she is returned safe n sound

years ago i had a sal x was la ping and off she went after a charlie , anyway couldnt find her anyway went back the

next nignt switched the lamp on and hey ho she came straight to me ,, fkn sals

same with my beddy whippet once she disappeared from home one day. I went to a regular lamping spot 4 miles away turned lamp twice and there was running back to me.

Would be worth walking around with the lamp if dog is used to it at any regular spots in range
