Durham John 693
Not when its over £500 worth of gear. Should have made the cut off time, slow time of year for couriers so wouldn't expected them to be that busy. Quote Link to post
vizlauk 1,568
Well its gone now via royal mail special delivery; peace of mind now. Quote Link to post
philpot 5,035
I had a kayak collected (12' 4'') by a courier and the guy in Wales I sold it to had also booked the day off. It did not arrive so when I spoke to the courier, they said they had misplaced it and had no idea where it was.......................A TWELVE FOOT KAYAK for god's sake. Three days later they found it in Scotland !!!!!!!! I was lucky the buyer was okay with it as he knew it was not my fault. One thing with these couriers which I didn't know at the time was that if the parcel was lost or damaged, their insurance pays out to a maximum of £250 which would not cover my kayak or most of the items we would sell ie. your Pulsar Vis. Durham John 693
Different couriers have vastly different compensation rates Phil, just depends what it gets covered for when posting. Think of the top of my head its £1000 max with vis's first choice ie inter parcel. Quote Link to post
