This is a tremendously destructive invasive non-native species which decimates the waterways it's colonised (the poster who suggests "there every where else" [sic] is grossly mistaken). The EA licence will give specific guidelines that must be adhered to less this wretched curse be spread to other, currently signal-free waterways. You get caught without a licence or acting outside of the licence stipulations and you deserve everything you get IMO. One of the cornerstones of living off the land is ensuring its viability and sustainability; not accelerating its demise.
