neil cooney 10,416
An hour???? I think your taking out your hoop Neil Go on Mixed Grill, explain to everyone on here why an hour is not unusual to wait in a big place (which is what I said in a post months ago, but Goat keeps bringing up) before starting to dig to your terrier. Now, I would appreciate good advice because I'm always willing to learn and still am. So Mixed Grill, tell us, why is it bullshit to give a terrier maybe an hour in a big place to settle. Educate us please. Can your terriers do an hour before hearing the shovels coming ? Tell us. Link to post

dillydog 8,463
This is getting like a Summer thread, all bitching and no substance, let's get back to working the dogs and put it to sleep 12 Link to post
mnnewry 35
At the end of the day, if it's the man's dogs and it's his hunt why shouldn't he want to take a pic of his dog working, I wish I had of taken couple of pics at the time of dogs no longer around so I could look back but hey ho I didn't but I won't condone any man doing it. However folk do need to be careful/ sensible on how they share any photos. As for lifting a dog out at the end of a dig, there's no haste unless the dog is in danger or taking abuse or something along those lines. Seen guys to quick to lift the terrier, then realising the target was not in a blocked end etc. Let the dog work the target but use a sensible judgement and lift out when the time is right. 5 Link to post
