Another thing, a lot of terriers can hold them all day but 9 times out of 10 the most pressure comes on a terrier at the end when the quarry knows there's another factor other than the terrier out there.

A couple of seconds messing can let game escape and an otherwise good terrier is now a wanker.

There's no time for messing with photos etc. at the end of a dig.

Ive never understood the rationale behind the pic, before during or after the day, especially with terriers,i don,t know of anybody that would be allowed to take them, ever,or anybody that would want them to,ever.I must live a sheltered life.

Can't knock haze he's out getting dirt on the bank,if he wants a pic of his dog working then no problem,it's the f***ing numptys that think it's cool to put up pics of dogs smashed up with the claret shots, they do more harm imo, think some folks have a touch of the green eyed monster lol.carry on haze it's refreshing to hear, see your escapades, don't become part of the terrier police lol.atb dc

I agree with you Neil but it's pretty plain to see that he's behind the terrier thus blocking off any escape route.

Personally i like taking photos and looking back on them from time to time and remembering good days/dogs etc. I dont put them on the WWW for all to see, I'll sometimes send one or two to my close mates otherwise thats it and i see no harm in it. No good terrierman is going to get the camera out if there's more pressing issues at hand but if everythings calm and your happy the dog and quarry are safe then IMO there's no problem.

Anyone who has a passion for terierwok will do their uttmost to ensure their terriers are in no danger and I am positive "zilverhaze" had met that criteria before he took a photo which took at least two seconds of his time. I challenge anyone that the next book on terrierwork they read they do not look at the pictures!! Difficult I think

Especially as the average terrier folk struggles with reading, pics are easier for them to digest,at times.I doubt for one moment that Z had anything but honest intent in mind,he comes across as such, yet we must become accustomed to the fact that as honest as our intent may be,others will twist it to theirs.

Zilverhaze its not the 1st time Bluck used someone else's pic's for his books or mags, the man is a pretender and only see's ££££££ notes,he is not a terrier man.He had a forum of his own going for awhile and actually threatened to grass up some lads, banned me from it because we had a difference of opinion and i would not agree with him so he spat the dummy. He went from borders to black dogs to J,russells all in about 3-4 years,he is a messer.
