Lamping With Red Fillters

When lamping with my mate when we split up its only when he flicks to the white you really notice , from distance it's hardly noticeable when he's scanning with the red on , makes a massive difference

This is what I'm saying , the "beam colour" is harder in red to see. If your looking straight at the reflector then maybe the red is more noticeable.

1million candle power of red vs 1million of white that's a fair comparison , but 1million candle if white with a dark red filter is totally different.

I'm always right. Apart from this time it seems I read somewhere its all to do with rods and cones and the wavelengths of colours but can't find it now so I must be wrong ..
