How many of you boys/girls have insurance for when you're ferreting?what kind of insurance do you have/need?public liability insurance or what?and what is the damage for a year?

I've been knocked back from two different permissions the last week,not because the don't want the rabbits clearing but cos it's basically a work place(factory's so to speak with machinery in yards etc) and don't want to take the risk of anything happening etc.but if I was insured obv this would make a difference and I'd be able to secure these places and cover everybody involved.cheers

Thanks very much pal.that cover looks ideal.£30 for the year and it covers the lot.thats a no brainier really,especially if it's going to make getting permission that little bit easier.cheers bud

Sure you saw it but check the General Exclusions in case. Very helpful if you ever speak to them too

Sacs covers everything. I'm sure there is a 10% discount when you quote the hunting life forum.

There is, club membership. You apply as a member of The Hunting Life club.

Costs 32 quid a year and cover for all field sports is included.

BASC for me, it's a bit more than other insurance but I don't mind as I feel that they are open about expenditure and are a general force for good.
